Creating Your Athletic Profile Sport-Specific Demand Analysis The profile is followed by a complete, detailed, individual report including specific recommendations for athletic development. This report is designed to guide the individual athlete to the most suitable athletic development programs for him or her. Youth Athletic Development Program – This program is designed to provide young athletes ages 7 to 14 with developmental athletic components that emphasize body weight, strength, coordination, body control and conditioning activities. It will assist in building confidence and self esteem in a fun, safe, group environment that helps establish the foundation for a healthy athletic lifestyle. The TEKTONIC Flexibility Program – is designed to elongate the muscles of the body to allow the athlete to throw, hit, jump, run, squat, swing, change direction, accelerate and decelerate with control and ease of movement. Scholastic Development Program – The scholastic development program offers an individualized sport-specific program for athletes ages 13-18 that provides a tailored, position-specific, plan for off-season, in-season and post-season strength development and conditioning. This program provides the fundamental components of athletic performance: strength, power, speed, agility, conditioning, flexibility and nutrition. The scholastic development program also offers team training. Team training consists of athletes from the same team or sport. Basic movement techniques are taught progressing to more sport-specific activities as techniques are mastered. Key strength and stability exercises are incorporated to enhance quality of movement and performance. A video analysis of movement and specific skill is captured with Dartfish technology, which is then assessed by TEKTONIC staff and the team coach. Sport-specific collective testing is used to assist in the detection of further individual and team deficits. Team training requires a minimum of 24 scheduled sessions. Collegiate Development Program – Created as an individualized sport training program for athletes preparing for or already involved in collegiate athletics, this program generates improvement in the elements of sports performance (strength, power, speed, agility, conditioning, flexibility, nutrition) required to compete at the collegiate level. Professional / Elite Athlete Development Program – This program offers both detailed and efficient elements that focus on providing the multi-faceted components (strength, power, speed, agility, conditioning, flexibility, nutrition) to athletes committed to improved sport performance. This sport-specific program includes implementation of advanced training methods and emphasizes injury prevention in a time efficient setting to allow for enhancement of athletic skills. Industrial / Elite Services Performance Development Program – This program is a personalized plan for highly motivated individuals driven to perform in their professional arena. Extreme Sports / Competitive Adult Development Program – An individualized program to provide clients with behavioral strategies and customized exercise routines to prepare for the demands of extreme sports, excursions and high-level competition.
